ABOUT KATHRYN
A passion for helping young people find their path
I have always had a passion for working with young people and helping to get them launched in their colleges and careers. I truly love listening to teens and serving as a sounding board for their thoughts, their plans, and their dreams.
My degree in Speech and Speech Education is from Northwestern University, where I also served on the Alumni Admissions Council for over 20 years. I am a graduate of the UC certification program for Independent Educational Consulting — the only program of its type in the nation.
After a 30-year career in sales and marketing, including executive roles at IBM, I opened Miller Educational Consulting in 2009. I am a member of HECA-Higher Educational Consultants Association, NACAC, RMACAC, and the Colorado Council.
